The Barefoot Everywhere
Participatory Project / Performance / Installation

The Barefoot Everywhere is an on going project where The Human Observation Society customizes shoes for the patron of the piece. Each pair of customized shoes are priced according to the patron's current financial status in order to encourage participation in the project. In the true spirit of absurdity The Human Observation Society wants to spend time with whoever commissions this piece in order to create the piece. This includes finding the perfect fitting shoe, cutting a piece of carpet from the patron's home (obtaining a new piece from the same manufacturer, or if the patron does not own carpet in their home a piece will be agreed upon), and having a cup of tea on the first meeting.
Once The Human Observation Society has collected all the necessary materials a package will arrive at your door containing the customized shoes. Expect a wait of about 3-5 weeks after all the materials have been gathered.
